Hey New here. Hope i'm in the right category.

Replaced my Driver side head due to a Burnt valve(I purchased it that way not knowing) Drove it for a couple months then i decided to pull it apart new gaskets
new head. It has alot more power. I also replaced my M.A.P Sensor it was bad but now when i leave the Vacuum line connected it revs up to 2,200 RPMs, When I remove the line it drops to normal RPMs 1,000 but it has a Studder and black smoke comes out of my exhaust.

Its a 1988 Ford Bronco 2 4wd. Fuel injected with the 2.9L Automatic

Are you 100% sure you have the right sensor in there?

The Right M.A.P Sensor? It was identical to the one i pulled off.

Can a o2 Sensor throw the Idle off? I have no vaccum leaks from what i can tell.

Love to get my rig runnin smooth got a trip to crown king this weekend. Anybody got any ideas?

Did you figure out your problem? Sounds like your around Phoenix somewhere. I'm out in Buckeye...might be able to help you with this issue.
