1988 2.9l Ranger Starter Wiring

Hey gang, I know this has been well covered but I just want to confirm I have it right. Does this illustration look correct? In my truck I believe the ground connection from block to chassis has been removed over the course of time. I’ve upgraded to 3g alternator and want to make sure I’m not skimping on grounds.

Larger battery negative cable goes to the engine, usually starter motor's hold down bolt but block bolt is OK
This grounds starter motor and alternator(no need to ground alternator separately but won't hurt anything)

Then engine to firewall, usually back of driver's side head to wiper motor bolt, but there may be a separate bolt on firewall

Engine or trans to frame/chassis, this can be at a motor mount or trans mount, just a short ground strap by-passing the rubber mount

Also need a Rad support ground, for horn and head lights, frame to rad support and inner fender, ground wire usually but can be a strap, some negative battery cables have smaller leads for this

And there is usually a ground strap under the cab to the frame and one for bed to frame, can be on filler pipe

if I go from batt neg to the threaded hole on the front of the starter motor case, is that just as good? Or better to be directly on the bolt?

Bolt that holds starter to bell housing is better
