Hello I am new to this site but I have been looking into joining for awhile... Now I have a few questions... My first is does anyone know of a hidden Subwoofer Box that can go under the front seat of a 1987 Ford Ranger? My next question would be, what can I do to my 87 Ranger that would be cool and make it Bada**, I am already looking into a 4 in lift and maybe a roll bar, but i don't know what else I should do. This is my first truck and my dad told me he wished he was stupid when he was younger because you only live once , so Im going to take his advice and try to make it stupid awesome Thanks for the Help and FORDS RULE :icon_thumby::yahoo:

First of all, welcome to TRS.

Second of all, Stupid can be fun, or it can be life threatening. Do try for the fun version. Make sure you get a good quality lift and go through the tech library here in TRS and read up on how to install it, look at posts on how others installed their lifts. learn from their mistakes and blunders, and learn from their successes.

Some things to look at and info to give us after you look over the tech library and other members build threads, what motor do you have? what transmission? 4x4 or 4x2? extended cab or regular? long or shortbed?

Do you have welding skills? if so, you can make some really decent bumpers for it.
Unfortunately, modifications and add on awesomeness does cost some money, so get ready to save up. Make sure the truck is in good running and mechanical condition before even trying to sink money into mods. nothing worse than spending a few grand on lift kits, tires, lights and a thumping stereo to have the engine or transmission crap out right afterwards.

Use it. love it. live it.

Okay and thank you... For the added info if you wanted to know it is a 2.9 6 cilinder, its also 4x4 and i think is an extended cab with a short bed. It also has a 5 speed transmission

Well I hope it's nicer than my 87 ha ha
