hi im new here and im gunna start by saying im not a mechanic. i have a 1987 ranger 2.9L. recently my father in law changed my fuel pump(high pressure in the frame) and he did not secure it back right. when i went for a drive in it everthing ran fine until i turned down a dirt road. the fuel lines and wiring harness that run along the frame there got wrapped around the front drive shaft and got tore out. i repaired all the electrical and fuel lines but the truck still will not start. i get fuel all the way up to the fuel selector valve(i thing thats what it is it has a plug with 5 wires on it) but no fuel to or past the fuel pump. im trying to figure out y. is it possible i switched the wires in the plug at the selector valve. i can hear all the pumps turn on when i turn the key to the on position. any help is appreciated and if someone know where i can find some diagrams to recheck all the wiring that would be nice also.
