I am a newby that needs a little help..
Just bought a 87 ranger 2wd standard cab and was wondering if anyone knows what all years of plastic drop in liners would be compatible? I found a really cheap one on craigslist for a 94 standard, but don't know about the years...
Thanks :)

hm, i'm gonna take a guess and say it may not be compatible.

drop in liners suck by the way... if you can afford it, get a spray in.

or just don't put one in. if it's already really rusted up, sand as much of the rust off as you can, use some denatured alcohol to clean it up, and then just use some rustoleum automotive spray paint.

the second option is if you don't necessarily care what it looks like.

if it's got rust, don't just cover it up with a drop in liner. it will continue to get worse... just deal with the problem now.

or look for a clean bed to swap with.

good luck, take good care of that 87 :)

Yeah the bed is already ate up with rust..I have sanded it and primed it and plan on spraying it with some rustoleum spray. The reason I want a drop in is because the previous owner got tons of dents, gashes, creases, dings...you name it lol.
I figured it was a long stretch that it would fit lol
Thanks
:)
