1986 ranger super cab driveshaft

I am looking for a driveshaft for a 1986 ford ranger extended cab. i can only seem to find them for short wheel base. any ideas where i can get one for an extended cab . thanks in advance

not easy to find for that vintage.....up here they are all rotted junk. where are you located? what is wrong with yours? 2wd or 4x4??


you can upgrade to a later style one piece or modify a later style 2 piece to work if you have too. likely take some flange changing for that.

there are a few available for 175 in my area....i would rebuild one first at a local rebuilder unless it was a fresher rebuild for that kind of coin.

it is a 4x4 i don't mind changing to a different style . i just wanted to keep it simple it is my sons truck and not worth putting a lot of money in. the old one has the yoke twisted off. thanks

Are there any shaft and bearing shops around ? Maybe they could weld on a new yoke. What was he doing to tear up the yoke?
