My shifter boot is all torn up in my '86 4x4 manual truck.... I cannot find a replacement ANYWHERE!!! Can someone help or does someone have one in good shape i could buy and get shipped my way? no local scrap yards seem to have my truck right now.... gahh this is very annoying.

Its the dual, side by side, rubber boot for transfer case & shift lever....

this is the one i need, but cannot find it! gah.

i checked LMC could not find on the online book. will have to look in the actual book i have, yea probably but i would have no idea where to begin with that haha.

I have a LMC catalog and don't see any shift boots. I would just go with two after market leather looking boots, If you sew or staple one side of the boots together and use the stock base ring they should work.

I'll have to look through my stash, I might actually have one. I definitely did at one point, and I don't know where it would have gone...

if you have one that would be awesome, will send you money + shipping money.... let me know!!

It doesnt seem to have a base to it either :S just looks like the rubber is sitting under the mat, no plastic ring to hold it down :S

I dunno where it went, but I sure can't find it. I did find a 2nd gen trans shifter boot and a 1st gen tcase shifter boot, but they're separate pieces, not made to work together. If you want em I can send em your way.

i thought the first gen had the shifter/trans boot built into one?? :S Ill have to double check and ill let you know.

They did when you had a manual trans and tcase. If it was an auto trans and manual tcase, the tcase had its own boot.

lol i guess that would make sense. Sorry no good. Thanks for looking though! If you do find it, PM/Respond to this thread.
