1985 ranger 5speed

hey i an devin i just bought a 1985 ranger 4x4 and its got a bogging problem the guy i got it from said its got a flat spot in the carb i am new to this just wondering what your thoughts might be and how i could fix them thanks

well, i could be wrong, but it sounds like your running pretty rich. that or the carb needs to be cleaned, or valves adjusted. Also i have heard of b11's having non-adjustable carbs. what kind of carb do you have?

Yeah, could just need cleaning...but when is it bogging?

And you may want to post this in the Urgent Help or V6 forum...plenty of knowledgible guys to offer advice...but add as much info as possible...like when it bogs and what you've already done to troubleshoot...if anything...
