Hey guys I picked up a 85 bronco 2 last week for 1300$ had 60k miles one owner but sat for the last 14 years.
I have replaced the headliner installed new stereo with a dvd pop out screen
Replaced all the fluids in every single thing. Replaced all the electrical wires under the hood including plug wires , plugs , new thermostat, water pump, radiator thermostat hoses , heater core. Replaced the calipers had to rebuild the turn signal switch and next week do the throwout bearing and clutch but it's been a good project I was able to fix the rusted roof when I took the headliner out. Got that all patched up not I just have touch up paint and scratch fixing when it quits raining here in the pnw

Looks great. Welcome to TRS.

Nice truck.
Where was the roof rust? Got pics?
I dont have any pic of the roof rust, but when I pulled out the headliner and the foam shell it was all rusted in the front of the truck , I sanded all that down and sprayed it with rust converter , there is some rust on the outside front driver corner where the paint is lifting I'll be grinding that down and bondo when the rain stops so I can paint it to match. The headliner I went with is a stampede of horses that my kids picked out it's a little too much and mostpeople laugh at it but it beats the moldy fabric that was hanging down before and I'm rather good at doing headliners.

Welcome from another newbie. I have a '90 also in white. Where did you order the headliner materials? Your front looks like it's a bit high compared to mine. Best of luck on the project, I do like the blue stripes along the side and the horses!

I got my fabric from joanns fabric I use the fleece fabric because its thick and stretched well , and I use super 77 adhesive from napa because it's the only glue I have not had fail on me. It does seem like the front sits higher than the rear as well. As far as i know the suspension is all stock. I'm glad you like the headliner lok my wife does not
