It is time to fix the ol radio and it seems that the factory wiring is intact. PO put an old pioneer shaft in. Speakers have beet sketchy, anyways I was surprised to see that the negative for the speakers all go into a common point. usually speakers have their own set of +'s and -'s. what kind of problems am I looking at? Will I need to run all new wiring? what about imaging?

Thank you.

You will need to run new speaker wires. All modern Radios float the outputs, both positive and negative above ground. In other words, you will have a positive voltage (about 1/2 of battery voltage, approx 6-volts) on each and every speaker wire. That is why no speaker wire should be grounded.
