1983 Ford F-250 cab, Would it fit a 1996 Frame??

I have a F-250 I picked up out of Arizona and I'm thinking about putting the body on a 1996 F-150. Will it work or are there to many differences in frames?? Thanks for your in put. Sincerely, Hickory

as long as they are the same setup ie both regular cab long bed it should work not much changed from 80-96. it is way too much work to put a regular cab longbed frame under an extended cab shortbed although it can be done
