nice- doesnt look like a highboy to me-not a 250 either, but nice. Never saw many ‘70’s supercabs back in the day, let alone now.

It’s not a highboy… everyone just likes to call old 4wd Fords highboys.

every highboy Ive ever seen was a 3/4 ton, not that Ive seen that many. All were reg cab longbeds too.

A true “highboy” was only made up to ‘77.5. They’re all f250’s. They had the narrow frame, divorced transfer case, reg cab long bed.

and a hella long front driveshaft due to that style of transfer case.

Id drive the shit out of it

The thing does look awesome.

The electric heater on the floor raises some questions and I noted a couple other small things but otherwise the truck looks to be in good shape. The bed interior is a bit banged up but it's a truck. So no big deal to me.

Every 73-79 Ford ive ever owned the heat in them sucked. They are really big cabs with very little insulation and alot of exposed metal. Maybe the PO has thin blood? Lol.

I found when it gets below about 30 or so the factory heat has to be kept wide open just to keep it somewhat warm....if its single digits or below itll knock the chill off and thats about it
