16 inch wheels on a '93 4x4?

Looking for new tires, and a see a ton of people selling tires/wheels off of newer rangers. Can these fit over the hubs on a '93? can they be modified (bored out) to fit? Are there any cheap 16 inch rims I could find to fit my rig?

The pre 02 Explorers had 16" wheels as an option that should be a direct fit
