So i'm looking to put some simulated bead lock steelies on my 06 ranger (pro comp 152's). I want to stay stock height or maybe go up to a 31" tire. I want a bit of a wider stance than stock. Would 2.75" backspace rub with a 31x10.5x15 tire? I haven't seen anyone running this backspacing. Any thoughts on it hurting the wheel bearings.

Thanks

You might want to pick something with a little more backspace. 3.75" is more common in wheels especially in a 15" rim. You can fit 31s stock as well.

just run real beadlocks why fake it

I will probably get the 31's, but I do have a 60 roundtrip commute everyday...so the thought of getting taller tires that will lower my gas mileage is on my mind.

I have the stock 16x7 on it now and feel the tires look a bit tucked in for my liking.

Fake one because...

A. Cheaper
B. I like the look, but will probably never off-road enough to make the extra price worth it.
C. uhhhh, look above to A & B

Hey I have those wheels (swapped, not stock for my year/model) on my truck right now and I'm rubbing 255/70/16's, do you know what the backspacing is on that wheel?
