I am ordering some 15x8 rims for my 00 and am planning on putting 33s on them. Before I order them I wanted to make sure that they are going to fit over my stock brake caliper and drums. the rims are the pro comp 15x8, 5 on 4.5 series 52 crawler. the tires are pro comp AT 33x12.50R-15. Oh and i just put a 3'' bl on.

Is anyone running that size rim and tire? 98-00 Pics would be great

I'm running the 15x8 American racing black steelies (the D hole style) and they clear just fine. But I believe with 33 12.50's you are going to want to run a 15x10 rim. With tose tires your also going to want atleast 4.56's with your 3.0L

The 33 12.5s will fit the 8 in rim fine. They will be fine may have to trim a little around the fender well, because of the width. I have a 97 with 3in bl and 4in suspension and I run 33x14.50 and I have 3.73 gears and a 3.0... Its not a race truck but its fine no problems.. lose of 2 mpg

Well a general rule of thumb is your rim width should be within 2 -3 inches of your tire width other wise you run into wear issues with the center.

Well They are a Ton of people that run 12.50 on 8 in Wide... Genarally it might be 2-3 inch difference but he will be ok .

Thanks for the responses. Ya i know I have 4.10 gearing and i am new to modifying trucks so this info defiantly helps. ill make sure to drop some air pressure to aviod wear issues
