Hey guys im looking at buying a set of rims soon and i want them to stick pretty much as far as possible.
Im looking at a set of 15x10s with 3.75 backspace and -44mm offset
I was was just wondering if any of you guys are running this offset and if so could tell me how much they stick out past the fenders or pictures would be gret
Thanks

Those will poke out 2-2.5" on Ranger axles I imagine. Depends on tire size, and manufacturer. FYI You will need 12.5 tires or wider.

Sounds like the same spec dc2's I'm running. I'll try to get you pics when I get home.

Thanks buddy.im surprised thats not as wide as i thought they were gunna be
And i deffinately need 12.5s right? Cuz igot a set of free 9.5s it would be nice if the would work

9.5s would look ridiculous. IMO stick with a 15x8, they can handle 12.5s down the road. I regret getting 10s, because at 10 psi the tires pop the bead too easy, they arnt bad with the 14.5s, but the lip of the rim still rubs trees and rocks.

I agree if this is a wheeler go with a narrower wheel. My aluminum wheels don't really leave the street. I've got a set of 33x12.5 mud terrains on steel 15x8's

Also, plum's right about the body on the earlier trucks being narrower, the axle is also about 1.5" narrower. I have since swapped in a d35, its a little wider up front.

All of these setups are on an Explorer rear, so they poke 1.5” MORE than they would on your Ranger axle.

Alright thanks guys i guess i got some thinking to do not really sure what i want to go with now

I also have 15x10. Works on some rigs not on others. A jeep we wheel with had 31x10. 5x15 on a 10 inch rim. We were winchig him and it took a stump to pull off the bead. Honestly I don't see it being a problem. I think its one of those things that every one will talk about but few have done.

I was just reading about how a 10 inch rim with 12.5 will flatten the tire out. So you'll get better on road responds. As to where a 8 inch is going to warp the tire.

Not surebif that'll be a deal breaker. I like mine on a 10.5 can't wait for 12.50
And its pretty easy to set a bead.
