Post the mods that you like and the ones that you dislike.
I'll start...

Worst Mods

1. Fender Trimming. :badidea:
It looks like crap and your better off to just get a lift. (not a body lift!!!)

2. Window Stickers/Bumper Stickers. :idiot:
Especially the zombie ones and those dumb stick figure family ones. Most of them look nerdy or high schooler-ish or just lame.

3. Euro Tail lights. :bad:
well, they're pretty ugly

4. Engine Swaps. :icon_welder:
Wouldn't it be easier to just get a truck that came with a v8 from the factory? I guess if your doing a totally custom build it's cool but if I was going to do that I’d start from scratch and make a tube buggy lol

5. Rust.
lol not really a mod but happens from lack of body care.

Best Mods.

1. New Parts.
Especially parts that are better than stock factory. For example, swapping auto hubs for manual.

2. Exhaust.
Only if it doesn’t sound like a ricer.

3. New Paint Jobs. :D
(professionally done, no spray paint unless its camo lol)

4. Bumpers.
Nicely made ones that don’t look like they came out of a junkyard lol unless that’s the look your going for.

5. New Headlights.(and headlight protection film)
I just got some and they are much better!!!! no more yellow lol

6. New Tires.

So you consider general maintenance and repair to be mods? That's what your best list sounds like to me. With that worst list you had to expect to get flamed with this post.

For me worst mod is Mustang clip on a Ranger, there's a pic of it floating around the forums somewhere. Best well that's definitely going to vary by person. I'm rebuilding the 86 and I really can't decide which one I like best. It's getting engine swap, axle swap, suspension upgrade (to 95-97), brake swap, and lowered. Actually I think I do know what my favorite mod will be, the "complete" mod. That's the one where I get to quit building and just enjoy it. Unfortunately I don't think I'll ever finish that one, but I won't stop trying.

Yes! It returns to haunt us....

Thanks BlackBII. Wanted to post the pic, but on cell at work so I couldn't take the time to find it.

well I see what you mean but I guess my problem with v8 swaps is how much effort it would take to do all the wiring and making the frame stronger, getting it to run right and how much it weighs compared to the old engine. stuff like that.

So what you are saying is that you are lazy and afraid of challenging yourself. :icon_thumby:

This mod really sucks.:shok:

Lmao!!!!
I had a similar "mod" that sucked that bad...

Dam man that do suck poor truck, did you come through unscathed? Guess thats one way to clean all the shit out from under your seats though aye?:D

I fail to see how a v8 swap is a bad "mod". If they wanted a full-size, they most likely wouldn't be on here. Also rust can't be helped. Living anywhere where they use salt on the roads its almost unavoidable.

Are you referring to rust issues such as these LOL..

I really wish I could find out where my Bronco 2 has been to have rust like this.

My best mod? Taking my Ranger out of DD service to stop/fix the rust, keep my fairly expensive 33's from wasting away on pavement, build rock sliders/side steps to hide the frame rails after the body lift that makes removing the trans to replace the inferior slave cylinder 10x easier as well as makes changing plugs a snap. Did I mention it gives you more room to tuck up an OBA set up and also make it easier to clean mud out from under the truck?

Second best? Hurst ftw!

Worst mod?

DD'ing a 320+ hp V8 SWAPPED 2wd Dodge Dakota with a spray painted junkyard fender :thefinger:

Oh look, there's some rust on it too!
