Well, I've read a few things on here and am still not 100%.
If I replace a D28 and BW1350 on a Bronco II with a D35 and BW1354(from an explorer)....will it fit fine if I use the explorer front driveshaft? Is it all 'bolt in' or is there custom fab needed?

IIRC, there is a transmission that you might have that is 1" shorter than the transmission in the explorer. If this is the case you will need to shorten your driveshaft by 1".

Actually it's a 2" difference.

The FM145 (used 1985-87) and the TK-5 (used 1983-87)
is 2" shorter than any of the later transmissions OR the A4LD automatic.

forgot

The year of the 5spd bronco II shows 90 but the papers say 89, or the other way. The explorer is a 92 Auto. That would mean I have an FM-146 and it's the same length as the A4LD in the ex?
And if that's enough, back to the main question.
Thanks

Yes the 1354 and driveshaft will swap in no problem.
