1350 to 1354 swap questions

can i put the electric shift transfer case from a 92 explorer in my 88 ranger pickup, i know it will bolt up but what do i need to get the electric shift to work ?
i did a dana 35 and 8,8 swap and want the bigger u joints and i am making a doubler out of my manual 1350 case in the truck now,
a manual 1354 is unheard of around here

I am not the best answer you can hope for here but suspect you'll need a wiring diagram of the 92, it only has three positions(2WD, 4WD and 4WD Low), from there you might get by with toggle switches, as long as no overrides are present in the 88

You'll need the shift computer, the switch module, and the wiring.
IIRC, It's pretty much a stand alone system, except for the red/white wire... that needs to see ground to shift into low range. (I'm not recommending you just ground that wire and bypass the safety, but I've done it.)
