Hi guys so I recently went to a junk yard and pulled what I thought was a 1354 out of a 90 ranger.... didn't bother to look at the tags turned out to be a 1350 fixed front yoke. didn't realise it until after I put it in and went to bolt up the front drive shaft..... question is will the front yoke from a 1354 work in a 1350? I know the spine is the same but will i need to change the seal if possible or better off trying to find a 1354 tcase to swap in?

Are you SURE it's a 1350? Fixed yoke 1350 is incredibly rare. I'm not sure if the 1354 yoke will work, I suspect it will, BUT the u-joint size is different. The 1350 yoke would be a 1210 style joint and a 1310 style on the 1354 t-case.

Do you need an electric shift transfer case or a manual one?

Yes positive it's a 1350 and they are rare that's why I didn't bother to look when I pulled it from the junk yard assuming it was a 1354. ?
I did how ever end up figure it out. Got a yoke from a 1354 cut the side that slips into the t case down 1/4" polished it all up and had to go to the parts store in get a smaller inside diameter seal. Not sure what the drive line was that I put in it (have several randoms laying around in the shop) i think it was out of a grand Cherokee. Got togeather yesterday and works just fine!

Neat. If you don't mind me asking, what junkyard did you find that t-case in? I'd sure like to look over the truck it came out of ...

Came out of nordstums ewe pull it lot in garrison sd. After I read about what i had I had the same thoughts!

Dang, I was hoping it was on this side of the state. It could be a high rider, I'd like to find another one.

I didn't pay much attention to it. other than it was a ext cab auto with a manual tcase. Didn't see any unusual marking or anything like that. And I'm i live in lead sd otherwise I'd go check it out again. Maybe next time I'm back on the east side I'll have to make a trip back over there and see if it's still around.
