FYI I am about 95% certain that a shifter from a FM-146/1350 truck will work on a M5OD/1354.

They are scarce. I searched about 25 junk yards. Finally found a 1350 I needed. No 1354s. I have one but I am looking for a Ranger thru 2 people that's a bad engine or tranny. Have two M5R1 changeovers and a 4.0 and 2.9. Not sure if I can convert the older 1350 yokes to fit the different drive shaft yokes and flanges. 1354s you can still get here and there or rebuilt. I'll keep looking.
