Does anyone know what is a good 12v source to connect my fog light switches to other than the radio 12v wire.??

To the battery using a relay switch.

Yeah, I agree with Copperhead.

My 96 was pre-wired for Fog Lights (even had the relay in the fuse box), isn't your 95?

I am using relays and they are connected to the battery but im just trying to find another source of energy so i can power up the switches. And yes Shane it is a 95.

Are you wanting switched or constant 12 volts?

Running it off the radio won't pull much power as a trigger.

Switched. I have the lights connected to a relay the relay to the battery and i had it connected to the wire that gives constant to the radio but im trying to find another source of power for the switch because i dont want to overcharge that same wire.

It really shouldn't pull that much unless you are running a light that pulls a lot when it's on.

You could always run a new dedicated line from the switched side of the solenoid next to the battery, and obviously fuse it.

EDIT:

This is what I did for my power locks, except I put it on the constant side

5 lights for switches, or 5 lights outside the truck? I should have been more specific when I said "It really shouldn't pull that much unless you are running a light that pulls a lot when it's on". I was meaning if the switch had a backlight or LED to indicate it was in the on position.

If you have the relay wired correctly, it won't pull any amperage from the switch to run the offroad lights. It's just a trigger to tell the relay to kick on.

Yeah i have a rocker switch with an led that turns on when the lights are on and i have three 6" lights connected to a 30amp relay and one switch for those and then i have two 5" lights connected to another 30amp relay and another switch.

I'd run it off the radio source if I were you. Do you have a lot of shiznit hooked up to it besides the radio?

Like I said above, if you're worried, I'd just run a line from the switched side of the solenoid. A 5 amp fuse would be plenty for 2 rocker switches.

Yeah i have my over head console hooked up to that line. This may be off topic but one of my fuses keeps blowing up, number 27 i believe it is on the fuse box next to the dash and that turns off my dome lights. Every time I turn the ignition key the fuse blows.
