My credo
We're only as good as our gear.
Looking for some knowledge. Wanting to move to the Sport Trac front brakes.
The Ranger is a 2008 2wd.
The article on the upgrade is for the I-beam suspension.
From looking at the Sport Trac knuckles they don't fit the Ranger without other modifications, plus it looks like the caster would be severely changed.

So this boils down to caliper brackets, just like the article.

So, can I get someone to make brackets for me? I will sign liability paperwork releasing you from responsibility.

Is the article outdated and there is a better solution?

Just saw the other day that a couple of old Ranger guys are doing adapter kits now to install a Cobra 13" rotor with the 4 piston Camaro/ATS calipers:

It's just for ibeam trucks at the moment, but they're working on the proper caliper bracket for the SLA trucks.
