how do they have any food left (or room in the boats holding tanks)? Id be jumping overboard and swimming to shore myself.

I never understood cruises. Even before the coronavirus pandemic there was always at least one story a week about a viral outbreak on a cruise ship. You jam thousands of random strangers onto a floating petri dish for weeks at a time traveling around the world and wonder why everyone gets sick?

Every so often, they come into Florida ports to refuel and restock. Otherwise, they wait.

Some are jumping off, either suicide or making a break for it. It sounds like so far none have made it to shore.

Why do you always have to be so glass-half-empty?

Sounds like a ton of fun to me:

My parents went on a paddleboat cruise on the Mississippi right when this nonsense started, they left and everything was fine. 10 days later they got back to new orleans to find a ghost town and empty stores.

They said they will never go on a boat again. :icon_rofl:
