Hey Guys,
New to the forum here and I bought a 93 ranger with a 94 4.0 explorer engine in it also it was all auto and now has lock out hubs and a manual transmission. It has around 150,000 miles on the engine and the truck has a 3 inch body lift with 31's on it. The CEL came on and off and it read that the left and right banks of the 02 sensors were reading rich and lean mixtures. so after replacing countless parts from 2 new 02 sensors, maf sensor, tps, wire set, plugs, and many other parts I am about to give up. The problem is that around cruising rpm range it spits and sputters and sometimes I have a lack of power. I am getting around 10mpg and I am not even getting 150 miles to the tank. I recently put a dual cherry bomb extreme muffler on it thinking it would free up the exhaust system. the only thing left that I can think to do is if the catalytic converter is clogged or plugged. I am running out of ideas. Any help would be appreciated.
