10/15 Kansas Rocks

You might can still find them by using one of the file recovery programs, they actually do well.
I don't know what a new one would be called, I used one quite a bit years ago when helping people with their computers, but you might ask a current PC guru or something

I have my BIL on the case now, I dropped it off this afternoon.

You had a map of that place and I saved to look closer, but at the size neccesary it can't be read anyway. Still I'd like to know the scale it uses, At the bottom of the map is a scale with 6 or 7 spaces of it. How long are those spaces, and are they metric or what?

I will check tomorrow, IIRC they are not standard. Might be metric or some made up thing because the map fits the paper at that size.

I was going to use them to figure the actual size of the park

How long are those sticks? :D

Looks like 13mm.

Awesome! Looks like 200 feet :D So you have 13mm = 200 ft ( First time I noticed that "South Forty Area" )

It adds up to just under half a square mile, that's cool really, seeing as how hills just count as flat land :D

One Square mile is 640 acres, a half is 320 and so on

Yeah, if you go on google earth and extrapolate the map onto it it is almost half a section with the one corner cut off.

Good things come to those that wait...

Great video. Thank you for sharing. I have to admit, I ducked from the trees a couple of times.

Looks like it was a fun trip. Thanks for sharing.
