Yota Prius = looks like a mini aerostar
Honda hybrid = looks like a mini aerostar
Anything Kia = flooding market with cheap crap
Anything Hyundai = flooding market with cheap crap
1983, 84,85, 86 Ford LTD (Brougham) = piece of sh*t through and through

Have you driven a Kia or Hyundai recently? I recently rented a 2011 Kia Sorrento and have to say that other than a slightly clunky suspension, it was a pretty nice ride. Would have to wait to see reliablity but it was a nice ride with nice fit an finish. Actully returned a 2011 Jeep Liberty and took the Sorento.

New Sonata and Genesis getting great reviews too.

1. pontiac aztec (most god awful looking car made)
2. honda element (more plastic than a chinese toy)
3. lifted jeeps with a spare wheel that doesnt match (spent money on the lift but not a
spare to match the wheels on it when it is hanging off the back of your heep)
4. any front wheel drive car with a huge rear wing
5. any jeep (just because my explorer and bronco 2 are 4wd does NOT make them
a "jeep", "nice jeep" "its a ford, moron"

2) show trucks that never get used
3) trailor queens
4) pontiac aztecs

5 90s Ford fwds Tempo, Taurus, Contour (garbage)

I can think of more, but that's my top 5.

Josh

i got a new top 5 based on recent experiense
1- cloud cars(stratus,breeze,sebring etc)
2- hyndai and kias, cheap korean ugly crap
3- saturns, saabs, volvos, and similar cars, there the kind of car people who know nothing about cars or maintinence and are very boring people or the kind that are annoying, although i hear saturds are good derby cars cause of the high levels of plastic :)
4- cars with lots of mods that do not affect preformance, ie body kits, playskool interior etc
5- cars that have to be taken to the dealership for basic maintenence work due to poor design, such as sticking the engine further back into the firewall, making it hell trying to just change the back 2 spark plugs. i just did ball joints and tie-rods on my dads 05 f-150, freakin PITA, what took 2 hours on a 2001 f-150 took the whole day...

Because some people just want a nice looking car to drive. I would rock a V6 Mustang in a heartbeat simply because there is not another plain car I would rather have for a daily driver out there. Much cheaper to buy, cheaper insurance, better milage, nicer ride... and looks darn sharp.

Well that, and I had a riot watching a '11 Mustang with a V6 thrash on two late model GTO's at the 1/8 mile track last summer. Had 2.XX gears 6 speed automatic and the GTO's were helpless. :icon_rofl:

I have come to find this out. Having driven this car frequently, I believe this car should be decommissioned...

(yes it IS that bad)

Suzuki Forenza -- (30,000 mi)

BAD:
  • Handling
  • Interior features
  • Electronics
  • Fuel sending unit/level sensor
  • Acceleration is so bad it is actually a hazard (being unable to merge with traffic/pass with traffic/or accelerate out of a parking lot)
  • Economy 2.0L 4 cylinder: Mid 20's mpg (highway), 18 mpg (city)
  • Poor tire wear after proper alignment (still)
  • Windshield wiper speeds & as well as defrost

I've looked at this thread a few times and, try as I might, I have a hard time thinking of five cars that I truly did not like...

the Aztek was certainly on the tip of my tongue...and those "THINGS" by VW that just never took off...the Fart 4 Two could be a mini gas chamber but they scare me with their stubby wheelbase...especially on a slppery highway in winter...

I try to avoid 'stereotyping' people by their vehicles (or choice of clothes, pets, or sexual preference)...and I have to admit that some vehicles I would never drive on a regular basis and anything big or small that has a key ring horn/lock drives me batty...

I cannot figure out why people cannot simply lock their doors like we did for decades without flipping their key fob over their shoulder and shooting it so that it chirps in recognition of their parting as if it is saying "ta ta lovey"...be here when you get back...

closest thing I've come to a rant in a long time...but those F*ers really annoy me...:)

1) cadillac escalades. why? why buy a subburban with a caddy emblem? they are the same damn car....
2) chevy colorados. people really want a 4 cyl and a 5 cyl in a midsize truck dont they:dntknw:
3) hummers that will never see dirt
4) brand new lifted ford f-seires trucks that never will see dirt
5) dodge dakotas. why spend 2k less when you can get a full size with the same engine

cant get a 6.0 in a suburban, only escalade.

any riced out import
lifted trucks that dont get used
full size diesels that never haul anything
v6 mustang/camaro
new retro cars that arent anything like the old ones

lifted isnt all about offroading. i lifted so i dont have to climb out of my truck.

Well, I don't think all Civics are gay.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FdijTTxWwWk

their all gay. dont even have to watch the video.

if its FWD, its as gay as a dude in a soccer mom van.

1: Dodge Neon ~ What a POS
2: Kia Rio ~ major pile
3: Dodge ram ~ constant front end problems and shotty quality
4: Ford fiesta ~ discrace to the ford name
5: Anything fwd thats modified past simple looks. if you boost a fwd, your a duche bag.

nascar, rwd. dragster, rwd. lemans, rwd. notice how ferrari, lambo, maserati, porsche, corvette, austin martin, bugatti, mustang, camaro, charger, challenger. all RWD. my neighbours belt driven leafblower? (cobalt) FWD...

favorite ones are the fwd with a spoiler, because you need rear downforce on free spinning wheels.

Spoilers do more than create downforce, they can also direct air flow. Doesn't matter what tires smoke, they don't do much on a street car anyway aside from looks.

My FWD turbo was freakishly fast (for its day) at highway speeds, handled well, got excellant milage and its only downfall in snow was ground clearance (which momentum helped with a lot) It had the weight over the drivewheels and thrust vectoring (Like a 4x4 truck or F-22 fighter jet)

I like muscle cars don't get me wrong, but there is a lot of fun to be had with even a FWD turbocharged car. I had a riot with my $2600 200hp 30mpg rocket in late high school, college and first year out of school. :icon_thumby:
