What is a "status" vehicle? The phrase makes you sound like a poor kid that is jealous. Would my M3 be a status vehicle? I ask because I run it at the Beave and push it pretty hard.

  1. PT Loser's
  2. 4x4's with Dubbs or bigger - Seriously what a waste of 4x4
  3. Barbie Jeeps
  4. Riced out Mustangs
  5. Any vehicle that has a sticker price of over 40k - yeah lets spend a years salary on a damn vehicle. Get over yourself already.

I am pretty sure there are more but I am sure I hit my biggest ones. Specially the 4x4 one. That just plain pisses me off. If you want big rims but do not go off road get a damn 2wd then. :annoyed::temper::pissedoff:

1. any dodge/chrysler/jeep...well there are a few ok jeeps like the old cj and stuff.
2.ricers....i love the Vtec engine, it is absolutely amazing, but if your putting twin turbo with dual pipes, to drive on the street, you have problems.
3.im not a big fan of the new look of the mustangs..but, if it is a cobra, or shelby gt500/gt 500 kr...then that is completely different.
4.prius/smartcar/other queer looking "hybrid" vehicles.
5.to be honest, im not much of a ford fan either, only cause i have bad luck with them. but that is because of luck, so my 5. is the big rimmed vehicles that have way to many monitors in them.

Dollar for dollar, your Ranger wouldn't touch that car. But it's all about opinion. What is gay to you, is fast and agile to another.

i know this post is very old, but i beg to differ about the dollar for dollar statement, look at the price of the engine internals the guy used. I know it doesnt include the turbo, etc...but still, compared to the civic, id take this ranger!!!

TOP 5
1.any box car (scion xb,kia soul, nissian cube...infact any scion in general i hate)
2.any car with an oversized spoiler, even if the car is fast and has a huge gay spoiler on the back...my saab had no spoiler and did 130 mph fine, so unless you go well over that on a daily basis, and you have a dumb spoiler, your gay.
3.dodge neon, i could NEVER see myself driving one, it falls under the vw cabrio, and new beetle..its a chick car.
4.smart cars...or anything close to it. I hate "green" mobiles like that. Save the planet, while risking to end your life by getting hit by something bigger then a bicycle, i think not.
5.Hybrids...similar to #4, but this is more or less a problem with the smug people who drive them(the ones ive seen anyway), and have cute little bumper stickers the back...a geo gets better gas mileage, and your car is NOT special...however you might be if you buy one (sorry to anyway who owns a hybrid, this doesnt apply to everyone who has one)

1. s10's and Sonomas that look better than my Ranger
2. Crapaliers and Sunflowers that have a boom tube stuck on the back
3. PT Cruisers
4. SmartCars
5. Energy Efficient vehicles and Battery powered "hybrids"

The bottom line is, the combustion engine has been around forever.. its near enough obsolete technology that could be engineered better, but why? We've kept it around this long with only minor changes so why bring environmental impacts into the equation to fix a problem that isnt going away.. Engines are made to be heard and used to the limits and thats the way it should be!

Oh and these suped up Ricers would have made the list too, however I drive a 94 accord exr for my winter beater.. and yes its bone stock!! 2 door with factory tape player always crancked to Pink Floyds "The Wall". Its got balls with a 2.2VTEC and is great on gas... sorry to say but you can drive those things into the ground and it will still come back for another 100k miles

1. pt cruiser

2. neon, srt-4 any form of it

3. honda element

4. scion, any one

5. chevy s10 blazer, i owned one and it gave me all sorts of hell, full size blazers are good with me.

I like those lunchbox looking Scions. Square corners=bold styling these days. The newer XBs are getting angles on them though.

I am gonna go out on a limb here and name off a few... Hummers, Escalade, Lincoln pickups, etc......... the deal is, it goes beyond just "having a nice car." It's me, having worked hard for years without a raise or even a pat on the back, and still driving rusted out junk because that's all I can afford...while my boss leaves work early so he can go do his yearly Corvette tradeup. Now it's about upper class assholes who take advantage of everyone else because they can...it's a **** you, look what I can afford. Look what you don't have.

I don't really care, I don't take it personally. Just seems to be some people's attitude.

1.Pontiac Grand AM/Grand Prix
2. Scion
3.Hummers
4. Toyota Trucks
5. PT Cruiser

Just like the new Kia Soul. In a class of bland cars it pays to stand out. Like the new Fusion is the boring-as-all-get-out midsize segment.
