Think of the bright side, it didn't happen while you were driving down the highway. That's the way I looked at it after I popped a steel line going to the rear when I slammed on my brakes trying to avoid having the front of my truck taken off by someone turning right from a strait lane. If it wouldn't have happened then, I would have had been going down the highway in a short bit, or possibly pulling a car on the dolly in the next day or so, and that would have been really ugly, but instead it happened in town and I had enough brake fluid and was able to build enough pressure to stop so I was able to get home and swap rides.
