No. This does not mean that you have a keyless entry fob. I do suspect the question means you are 22 or younger though.
For did not offer remote keyless entry for the Ranger lines until sometime after 1992.
If you really want RKE it isn't that hard to install on an 88 though. Go down to the junkyard and grab the module and relay pack out of a Taurus or Explorer and I'll tell you how to wire it up.
