ok. so right now i'm just doing my homework for a budget lift for when i get a truck. i want a 3rd gen ranger. i'm planning on doing the skyjacker 2" lift coils and the belltech 6400 shackles. so thats 2 inches. i want to have 32x11.5 tires. i know they will fit but i want a little more wheel well. so my question is what would be the best way to make a 1" body lift. i've heard about some people doing it but i cant find out how. any input is appreciated

Just but some 3" body lift blocks and cut them into 3 equal sections. You wouldnt need but a couple to cut up and you would have enough. The stock bolts should be long enough so you should be set.

Do NOT use hockey pucks! after a couple of years they will fall apart. They are not made to withstand that kind of conditions and will break down do to the elements. I know a guy who used them and this happened, almost rolled his truck because of it. I do NOT recomend you use hockey pucks. If you want to do a body lift, Get a body lift, dont risk yours or others lives with a cheep hockey puck.

i stand by my evaluation of them 100% and i live in northern Minnesota with lots of temps well below -20F, winter snow, ice, road salt, and spring mud. my poor truck is rusting out kinda bad now, but again, 4 years, 12k miles on trails and on the road as my dd/trail rig with NO break down whatsoever with the pucks.

well has anyone every used these. they are pa 1" blocks. i found them in another forum. they have a big block and a small block. i don't see why these wouldn't work. and hey. it would be a hell of a lot cheaper to buy the right amount of these, go to tractor supply and pick up the right hardware then to buy a 3" kit and cut it down to size

i didnt know you could buy individual blocks, especially at such a low price. seems i may piece together my own body lift when funds allow.

yeah. i didn't either. and its good because i only want 1" body lift and it will be a lot cheaper to buy the blocks and hardware than buying and cutting a kit. i don't really want a lot of body lift anyway. i hate the gaps and engine drop. and with the other mods i'm planning on it will give me 3" of lift so i'm good with that
