1.7 roller rockers ????

well this what i have done now! i have my rv cam in my 3.0 and found a deal on some 1.7 pedistal mount 5/16 roller rockers for a 5.0 motor, i changed the bolts out to 8 mm 1.25 40mm long fits great but know my pushrods are way to short. i thought i would just get a pushrod lenght checker from summit but i can't find one that goes that small (stock pushrods are 5.299in long) anybody done this mod and run into this?

Yes & I had to make my own pushrod length checker, take a stock push rod cut it into around 5/8 of the length, as I recall I shortened one of the cut ends by 3/8" or so as well, then use a tap that will cut threads into the stock pushrod, without exiting the outside wall, thread both pieces, get a long socket head set screw that matches the threads you just cut and you need a nut that matches the bolt or set screw & assemble the screw into one of the ends add a drop of loctite, add the nut & the other end of the cut pushrod & you have now made an adjustable length checker. Sorry I do not remember what tap & screw size I used maybe 10-32 or a metric, I just don remember. just size it to the pushrod ID & not exceed the pushrod OD.

so just thread the ID of both pieces and add a bolt in the middle, simple enough, since it will be a small pushrod, who made yours? or can make mine.
