1/2 Ton Buggy Build

I bet those bolts are missing cause his slave cylinder is missing.....at least thats what I think....

l8r, John

Yeah the slave cylinder stock location isn't going to be used but the small bolt on the bottom is mia.

I knew the slave was out, I was referring to the block plate/flexplate shield missing a bolt...

SVT

I checked that missing bolt and there is nothing behind it, I guess a t5 bell has a bolt there but not the bell on the np435.

No real updates but did get a new shift knob..lol

I have the same knob on my doubler shifter. lol

Got it started!!!!! Idles and revs up good but haven't drove it yet because there's no coolant in it. Should have it ready for Interlake next weekend.

Pic of the tanks and shocks mounted.

Wow cool, reminds me of my Willy's, but on crack.

Still have a few things to do but I did drive it tonight twice. Has good power and will idle along pretty slow in 1st and reverse even took it up my curb without using the gas pedal. That's not bad for 3.55 gears and 39.5's..lol

So should be going to Interlake Saturday if anybody wants to go.

Looks nice, I'm guessing Interlake is no where near me.
Lol, as I said before it does look like my willys on crack.

I'm down for IL if I'm off.

Now you can help me with the Focus lol.

I like it. Nice, simple, practical

If you don't mind, what did the build cost you? I'm interested in doing the same, just a ranger based, tons and 40's.

Good when will you find out if your off?

MastuhWaffles it's in Southern Indiana. And if I had more room I'd probably have a real Willys for a project and I would like to find a willys grill made by Ford for what I have now.

Thanks, and I'm not sure I didn't keep track.
$1500 for steel
$200 for axles
$250 np435 and 205
$400 seats
$300 harnesses
$500 propane half of it used
$180 tanks
$300 used tires
$250 wheels
$400 for 2 winches
$400 wilwood pedals and masters
$4680 just for that stuff. So I would say 7.

Won't know till Friday
