09 Ranger seat swap

I just swapped my 96 Ford Ranger for a 2009 (Thanks Obama!) extended cab Ranger XL and the stock bench seat really sucks. What bolt on options do I have for bucket seats? Is it correct that the 06-09 Ranger seats have the same pattern? Any other seats I could use like Explorer seats to make my search easier? Thanks!

I live in Massachusetts where they have full health care coverage for every drug addict and baby momma for free while I pay thru the nose for mine or face at least a $1000 tax penalty for no coverage. I make 30k a year working with these social security parasites. My wife and I passed on buying a home a couple years ago when anyone who could sign their name and lived in public housing was getting a loan for $400k homes only to get bailed out when they defaulted.

I have never taken any form of public assistance in my life and pay my taxes. I am truly disgusted how government money has been thrown around lately. Both Republicans and Democrats suck in their own special ways. This CARS program is the most wasteful, environmentally useless program that was designed solely to further bail out American automakers and dealers. So because my six months pregnant wife's 96 Ranger with the garbage 3.0 and bad rear end qualifies for a $4500 rebate and we go ahead and take it somehow we are abusing the poor American taxpayer? WE ARE THE POOR AMERICAN TAXPAYERS YOU DAMN FROGS!

Anyway, congrats on the new truck. I have the 08 XLT Supercab Ranger and really like it. I just missed getting the exact same one but with the bucket seats by about a day. (drat!) But really, I don't mind the bench seat at all. I've driven this same truck non-stop (except for fuel) from Cleveland to Florida and back about four times and it's never hurt my back once, which is more than I can say for my other two (more expensive) cars.

Thanks Hawker. I actually don't mind the seats but my wife thinks they are too stiff. I glanced on Ebay and saw a few leather power heated seats from early 2000 explorers so I was curious about interchangeability. Tried a few searches here but most of the info was GEN I and II stuff. Is it safe to assume Rangers from this decade would be GEN III and IV?

Also sorry about the heat from the earlier post but the wife and I are really getting wrung out financially by living in Taxachusetts and watching this once great country get milked dry by those with the power to do so is enough to make a grown man cry. I don't normally shoot right out of the gate but I was really caught off guard with those two...

alright so back to the seat question, jerks, exploder seats, mustang seats, and any ranger within your gen 4, *should* interchange. but locating a decent pair of seats under $200 will need some luck, unless you can find a part out or get lucky at a jy

I have an 01 supercab and got a set of seats from an Expedition,Eddie-Bauer, leather-power and am unable to install since they do not allow me to close the doors! So that is one combination I know will not work.
