08 Ranger Bed Tie Downs

I have an 08 ranger that had 4 tie down hooks in the bed, but they sit up about 12-14” from the truck bed. Does anyone have any recommendations on hooks or systems to be able to mount to the bottom corners of the bed?

When trying to tie down loads with low height, the other cleats really dont work so wanting to add something to fix this.

I've seen a bigger version of these used on the bed bolts.

Edit: This one might be large enough to just work. Or only slightly open the bolt hole up.

it's mostly thin sheet metal, anything you choose will need reinforcements.
maybe move the existing mounts lower.

I’ve thought about this before and had intended on building reinforcement plates and adding D-rings lower in the bed but never got around to it really.
