'08 paint suddenly crinkled

I have an '08 bright red, that was detailed about 15 months ago, and suddenly today a 3"x4" patch just below the drivers door handle suddenly developed a rough crinkle pattern in the paint. It looks like paint applied over dirty metal but it is two years old.
Anyone else have this, seen it. etc??

It might still be covered under warranty but not sure on that...

Dealer did cover it under warranty, turns out there was moisture in the primer from the factory and the recent hot spell brought it out.
So good and bad, good that it was repaired, bad that I have now had my door repainted.

be willing to bet more patches will develop over time.
