Anyone know of a specific reason why i cant find any suspension lift for my 06 ranger under 1500$$??? I had an 01 before and you could get a 4 inch suspension lift for like $500 and the serious performance one with traction bars and everything for like a grand. both vehicles have had the same suspension setup, the 01 was an EDGE and the 06 is a FX4 both have had torsion bars and 2 inch blocks in the rear, different gearing but overall they were pretty similar. Now when i look for a 4 inch suspension i get a $1500 lift? whats the deal? and the 5 inch lift is wayyy worse 2400$$ and told to me as one of the most expensive lifts out on market??? should i just got with an add a leaf and torsion bar raise or go body lift? im not looking for serious offroad, just the occasional play and alot of highway. its a daily driver.

Any replies would be helpful.

Was the 01 a 4x4?? I have never seen a suspension lift under $1000 for a 4x4. Your options are superlift, RCD (has been discontinued), Dixon Bros., or SAS.

Can crank the t-bars for free, then you of course have body lift, which is by far the cheapest, I think around $200 or so.

I'm curious where you found an SLA suspension lift for 500$......

The suspension lift for 500$ is for a 93-97 that is on suspensionconnection.com
i seemed to have forgotten to specify that. the 01 suspension lift on a 4wd was 800$ at its cheapest. I still cant figure out why its 1600$ though on the 06 :/

Because its a newer truck and because drop brackets are needed for the 4x4 but I have seen 4x4 lift spindles that give it a 3" lift so with those and a torsion bar crank you get 5 to 6 inches out of it

thats probably the route im going to have to take. id like to just do a whole system but i just cant afford another 1500-2400$$ plus tires which is another grand in itself ontop of my monthly payment on it, insurance, and everything else.

I have never once seen a suspension lift for any '98-current Ranger for less than $1200 (except used of course).

$1500 is the going rate for SLA IFS lifts.

I have to agree with ya junkie. I think the cheapest new Superlift i've seen is $1545 but that's with discounts. Casto the same lift for the 01 is the same for 06 and everything in between. There are some sites that sell the components separately and the whole kit too. For $800 I believe is the front kit only.

Edit: Name fix...my bad

The 800$ is without shocks and was just the basic spindle drop, blocks, etc. and its Casto. not Castro theres no Fidel here and im far from being cuban man. its no biggie though, it happens. im just probably going to find drop spindles, and pieces to make it work custom done. i guess. im not paying 1545 at its cheapest. plus that for tires for my 17s.

Yeah I bet tires do cost a good chunk for those wheels
