04 Service Repair Manual

Wasap guys, need some help.

This is my 3rd Ranger so far, and in my opinion, the best one I had.

I used to have only Toyotas, from pick ups to 4Runners all years (83-01), and on all of them, I have been able to find a Factory Repair Manual on line.

I've also had a VW jetta, and found the factory service manual, I even bought an 03 X-terra a couple of weeks ago, and I already found the factory service manual for it, all for free.

How come I haven't been able to find one for the Ranger?

I have looked in several forums with no luck.

Is it that hard to find? or is it really none existent?

Can any of you guys point me in the right direction?

I'm looking at a problem with and EGR valve and the air flow meter sensor which I think I screw up, I want to measure the resistance on each one of the sensors and compare it with the readings it should have.

I bought a Hayne's book (20 bucks), but it doesn't have the resistance measurements or trouble shooting instructions.

Please help and point me in the right direction, anybody...

I'm my experience it is almost impossible to find online lol.

Welcome, I'd like that truck also. Guys are right, real hard to find on the net if it at all. The best ones to get are those made by Helms Inc, same as what Ford uses in their shops. See a couple on E-Bay now, kind of expensive but can always resale them.

True lol but you know free is good especially when some of those service manuals are mighty expensive and kinda overpriced. They should really throw it in with a me vehicle purchase lol. I should try that sometime! like haggling for new tires or window tint for free

to start with, my truck was not that expensive, it cost me 4700 bucks.

As for the manuals, like I said, I've seen for every other brand of vehicles, but never for a ranger in free PDF format.

I just wanted to know if anybody else has searched and had the same results as I, that is, zero...

If any of you need any service manual for Toyota trucks, VW jettas or X-terras, let me know and I can hook you up...

I have access to them on-line but I won't give out my log-in info for Ford's trade site. I have access to too much other stuff in there.


IME Ford is not very good about publishing resistance specs for stuff like that though. Or else I'm not very good at finding them.

I found some lol. Not sure if it covers 04 though. I have alldata so rarely use them.
