I had a 02 mazda b3000 and I tucked 31 inch bfg all terrians under it perfectly with plenty of room. But after a bad wreck I had to retire the truck.

Well I recently bought a 04 FX4 Ranger it seems like I have more clearance and I want to put some tires on it and I know I can do 31 but is it Possible to do 32s? Also the truck seems to be sitting really low in the front. Is it safe for me to tighten my torsion bars up and level it out?

Thanks Wyatt

Wow, that is a bad wreck! Nice new truck though.

Yes it is safe to crank the torsion bars a little bit. Look around, a lot of guys on here have done it, just don't crank em too far.

Figure out what your stock size is, then you can see how much bigger 32's are.

If you raise the front of this truck more than 1/4" without doing an alignment afterwards you will cook the inside edges of the front tires in no time...make sure you have an alignment done after you get the ride height where you want it. Josh

Ok Soo ive been looking around and I think 32 11.50 heres the link to the tires.

But someone told me my rim size is 17. I took a tape measure out there and it was 17 but I dont know if that is quit accurate.

Please help me lol.

Just look at your tires, the rim size is written right on them. I'm guessing you have 16" rims.

If I did have a 16 inch rim would those tires fit on the rim?

You have to find the size of your rims (should say on the door sticker as well)

Either 265/75R16 or 265/70R17 will fit without rubbing (both are just under 32" dia.).

You have 16" rims.

32x11.5 should fit fine, i would crank your t-bars about 13 turns and have the front end alligned, and you might have to trim the bottom corner of you bumper a fraction of an inch but that can wait till you put the tires on.

It's usually safe to crank the front end up 1-2" with the torsion bar suspension. Your truck has 16x7 inch wheels standard with 245/75/R16 tires. You can fit 265/75/R16 (~32") without any problems. I also went to a 16x8 inch wheel on mine with a +12mm offset (5" backspacing) and have no rub issues at all.
