03 sohc into an 88 ranger

as it says above. will it fit in without and major mods to anything, will it bolt in like a 4.0 from a 93 explorer? thats tranny as well.

First off, the difference between a '93 and an '03 like in your thread title is a bunch. The '93 has a 4.0 OHV while the '03 has the SOHC.
