Hello everyone,
I am new here as a member but have used much of all your advice. So here goes.
The other day put the truck in reverse, gave it a bit of gas it started to backup, then I heard and kinda felt a pop. Thought I might have hit something. I continued to drive to the gas station with no immediate problems. long story, lost reverse and at gas station noticed tranny fluid leaking from front, passenger side of the trans. Yup, checked levels and sure enough it was really really low. At least a quart or more. Added fluid had to risk driving home. Would obviously shift some then slip as if no pressure. I babied it all the way. I am wondering if it could be the servo O'ring at the servo cover or a line issue. I have not yet crawled under to check. I really do not have a place to work on the vehicle this is number one problem, the other, money is very tight. Any help with the transmission would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advanced.
