03 fog light valance

I've got an 03 XL, 2wd, with a 2.3l. I want to put some fog lights on it but I can't seem to find the right lights that go into it. The spaces in the valance are oval shaped. I've searched the forums and the tech library. I'm just wondering what the part #'s are that I'm looking for. All I seem to find online are the round lights. Thanks guys.

The newer valences like yours (and mine) won't accept fog lights. Look closely at rangers of the same year with fog lights and you'll notice that the whole bumper is different. I think the only ones that got fogs were the Edge's, FX4's, and 4wd xlt's. The valence on them flows into the fender flares. Unfortunately, you'll need a new bumper and valence to get fogs that look stock.

Well that kinda sucks, oh well. I suppose I could just get a bumper guard and mount some to it instead. Also I could go for a new bumper and valance since I'm going to change my grille when I get my tax return.

That would be good if you could get one from a junk yard. Notice in my avatar that I have an Edge grille in my truck. It was $50 shipped from eBay, I just had to paint it. A lot of folks mount lights behind the grille, and I personally think it looks pretty cool. I don't know what kind of grille you're wanting to get, but one like mine has plenty of space for light to shine through.

Actually I'm looking at the same grill, found it on amazon for $60 shipped. Lights behind the grill would be cool

This also goes to another thread I made. I want to have multiple sets of fog lights and use the rear wiper switch on my dash as a selector. Something like Light, Medium, Heavy and London. Might wanna put a rear facing light too.

Check Ebay, Bro. I bought a complete lower valance with the lights brand new with shipping last year. I think the seller ID is autopartsdepot or something like that. There are a lot of valances new and used for your truck with the lights or just buy the lights. I see the light for sell in oval and the rectangular style as well on Ebay.

I checked ebay and the cheapest one I found was $120 + $96 shipping. That's a bit out of my price range. I've found basically the same thing separately for less. The only problem is my bumper. Would it be easier to cut mine or should I try to find the right one at a junkyard?

Easier to find one at a junkyard. I can imagine it would be hard to make a clean cut that would look right. Another option would be to put lights on the side of the front plate, in that little hole in the valence. F250's have lights like those stock.

I paid $160 for a new lower valance and the fog lights with shipping on Ebay 2 years ago. $96 for shipping? What auction were you looking at??

Whew....too much for shipping!!! Ugh to that shipping price!!!!....but nice price for the parts. I looked up your front bumper and I now understand how the cut outs look on the bumper. I thought that was an area to add lights in there that was an option. Ok...you can use the light bars I posted above in that area and you can easily trim out that area with a dremel tool. Go back to that Ebay auction and see if you would like this kit:

If you think you can use it it would be better than buying another bumper and having to find lights and then you also have to get the wires and plug them up with the right parts. At least this kit on Ebay has everything there and ready to plug it up.
