01 Ranger on tons

So do you guys think a ranger box will be strong enough to turn these tires? Or a toy box

You'll want hydro assist with either of them, a ranger box will do or a while though, until you get the tire jammed against a rock or something.

Ride height wheelbase is at 129

For the most part directional tires work no better or worse in either direction. Some actually get better traction if mounted backwards. When i was driving a M936A1 wrecker i intentionally mounted all six 48" michelins backwards because they worked better that way in the soft conditions i was always working in.

An older military practice you still see from time to time is to mount directional tires one way on the left and the other way on the right. The theory was that if the enemy came across your tracks they wouldn't know which way to follow you.

Just my $.02

That' pretty clever there... I've also heard of people running them different directions thinking that they would have at least on side getting better traction no matter which way they were going.

Needs brakes bled and drive shafts yet
