I'm diggin it, you should post WAY more pics though.... Thats how you get the good comments:thefinger:

this is gonna be a cool project. You still have any of the tonneau cover parts off of it? I'm in need of the bows if you want to sell them!

Heres what I did for a steering box on a '97 Explorer...
took this section off of a Bronco II frame..

welded it into the explorer frame..

had to do a little work on the outside of the frame as well (not completely done in this picture)..

here it is done..

with the steering box bolted in..I also had to figure out a new lower radiator hose. I went to the auto parts store and got one with the general shape/size I needed and trimmed it to fit, it doesn't rub the steering box at all. I would also suggest getting a flat 2wd pitman arm.

BTW, I didn't do ALL the work on this explorer, I just got the steering working properly again, it was pretty hacked up before. The good thing about using a Ranger steering box is you don't have to worry about your draglink interfering with your leaf springs. I've seen people have problems running a toyota box with leaf springs.

The tie rod is going to hit the lower radiator hose and maybe the radiator I'm probably going to move it back like 3 inches
