Got an 01 flex fuel Ranger still running the OEM pump. What's the normal lifespan for these units? I received this truck free of charge with 231k miles. It hasn't had the best record for maintenance so I'm thoroughly going through and doing what I can to keep it on the road, which so far hasn't required much.

Bonus question, I have a two door extended cab truck. What is my wheelbase? I may preemptively replace the whole pump assembly anyway and there are different ones depending on WB. Thanks in advance.

My 1994 4.0l 4x4 pump is still Original as are all the sensors except the O2s
400+k

1998 to 2011 Rangers had 3 wheel bases
Regular cab 111.5"
Long bed 117.5"
Extended cab(2 or 4 door) 125.7"
(4x4 extended cab can be listed as 125.9", Regular cab 4x4 is also slight longer)

Wheel base difference for fuel pumps has to do with gas tank size
Regular cab used 17gal tank(16.5gal)
Long bed and Extended cab 20gal tank(19.5gal)
