Hey I am Paul, I live in the low country in South Carolina. I am new to this site but I am not new to the explorer or ranger.platform. Currently I have a 2001 Ranger XLT 4X4 Off Road. Its lifted with a PA bl, 2” stock blocks, and a little torsion twist to levelit out. Im running 15”.Cragar rims with 33” Maxxis bighorns. I use to have a 99 Explorer lowered 2” on Cruiser Alloys with 265/35/22 pirelli p zero.scorpions with a killer system. Lol im done with that stage of street trucks/suvs. My plans are to put a Superlift, Skyjacker leafs in rear, and coilover the front and delete torsion bars and keep my 3”bl and run 35s or 36s. I was also wanting a set of BTF uniball upper control arms but i may go with moog. Got to take em out might as weel just replace them. I will be doing a build thread once I get all the parts which should be 2 weeks to 1 month. I just ordered and recieved the coilover brackets from the guy on RF some of you may know who. They are the hardest to get so those were first. He actually only had one set left after mine and was unsure if he was going to make anymore at the current time, so i scooped up mine at the perfect time. Now im having my coilovers made by FOA, I will pay them and have them start Friday. My plansare to make my own front and rear tubular bumpers and sliders. As well as painting it od green with bed liner. I want an all purpose truck that can get through any situation around here. which is mainly mud here in the low country of South Carolina. No sas. Too big of a project right now and cant afford to keep truck off of the road for a week. NOT NOW maybe when i get sick of SL an coilovers n IFS all.together, i might go sas. My philosophy is you work hard for your money and its your vehicle so do what makes YOU happy. Modify it the way you want. Why spend the money building it if you arnt going to use it. And everybodys entitled to their opinion and I respect that. Well I look forward to future threads and post, and thanks for looking. LOOK for my build thread in the next few weeks, its coming soon.
