Does anybody knowhat has to be done to put 01 cobra wheels on woth the cobra brake kit like how thick of spacers? 03 cobra wheels have deeper hub so less spacer is needed bit o1s need a diecent spacer i think i know i need more than a half inch to get center cap to fit:dunno:

Most guys use a 5/16ths spacer to clear the hub. Mustang wheels can be tricky though. Aftermarket wheels can have different center bore sizes than the factory wheels, so I'd just but the wheels you want, and do a test fit without any spacers to see what you would need, and then buy the appropriate spacer. Keeps you from buying spacers that won't work, or ones that are to big.

Yea the center cap is only like an inch from the inside of the wheel where it sits up against the hub so i think im going to need pretty thick ones but im hoping it wont be too wide alltogather because whe 2000. Wheel width seems a lil wider already tires stick out a lil farther than they did with the 88 frame lol btw ir truck has beem my backround on my computer. For like the last year

Hey I like your wheels.lol. I seen your wheel center caps say SVT.....mine have the cobra logo on them are they different?
on my 92' xlt I had to use the 1" adapters too. Do your front wheels stick out about an inch from the fender? mine do. I didn't like the look without the center caps.
Also I have the stock brake set up.
I'm runing 275/40/17s all around on 17x9 wheels

yup mine do too so im not sure about lowering it yet idk what to do about the fenders and tire clearance i want to drop it 4" eventually but still thinking might just replace the front shocks with air shocks so if the lowering coil isnt stiff enough i can put a little airpressure in them so tires wont rub when i hit a big bump
