01 4.0 into 96 3.0

Want to install 4.0 and trans from 01 Ranger into 96 Ranger with 3.0 I have both trucks want to know what I will need from 01besides motor fuel lines and pump and under hood harness and computer. Do I need interior harness or instrument cluster or what else?? Any help would be appreciated Thanks..

If you're not wanting to do any wiring/splicing, I'd swap the complete and entire harness...

Good catch. The trans will need to be replaced as well, they don't share the same bellhousing bolt pattern...
