Just a bit curious, why would you want to 5.0 a sport trac?
The "second gen" that isn't particularly too different from the first gen got the 4.6, and those have a much better power to weight ratio and gets better economy than the 5.0.
The "Second Gen" Is DRASTICALLY different than the first generation, different frame, different platform, nearly every panel is different....
The 5.0 would be a 'bolt-in' swap for the first generations, and as the other poster mentioned, has as much potential, and has better low-end *better for Off-road IMO*
