are you getting voltage to the coil at the connector?check for voltage there,if good,check the coil wire for continuity.also check the dizzy cap and rotor.these rotors can come loose.all i can think of.
yeah, the coil wire its self is what i would think of first. what kind of condition are the wires and distributor in? did you just buy the truck not running or did it run and suddenly quit?
i bought it not running, guy said it sat up for a year before i got it, The Cap and wires look really new, there is mud all of the truck and engine but the wires and cap are really overly clean.
